This makes me exceedingly happy: Joss Whedon is officially returning to Marvel Studios to write and direct the 2014 sequel to The Avengers…In addition, Whedon will be creating a Marvel universe based TV series for the ABC network. - Comics Alliance Joss doing Avengers 2 was pretty much a given after all that success, but with the other news I’m not sure what makes me happier - that Joss is returning to TV or that it’s gonna be with a Marvel show. So much awesome.

This is the poster for Item 47 Marvel’s sort of spin-off from The Avengers. It’s a short film about a couple who get hold of an alien gun after the events of the film and proceed to go on a crime spree.  It stars Jesse Bradford and Lizzy Caplan and is showing at Comic-Con Friday - but for those of us not lucky enough to be there will be on The Avengers Blue-ray.
