The Assassin’s Creed movie has moved forward another step as it now has a star - Michael Fassbender. And yes that is a picture of Desmond Miles but nothing’s been confirmed about who he’ll actually play so he might end up as Altair instead or maybe he’ll do both, could happen.
Fassbender’s company DMC Film are producing the film as well.

This is a Nintendo E3 round-up of announcements (so far):
First-Party new releases are New Super Mario Bros 2, Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Luigi’s Mansion 2. New Super Mario Bros 2 is due for release 19 August 2012, the other two have a ‘holiday season’ release.
Wii U Third-Party line up is pretty impressive:
Mass Effect 3, Batman: Arkham City, Assassins Creed III, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Trine 2, Rabbids Land, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, Darksiders 2, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Lego City: Undercover, Zombi U, Rayman Legends, Project P-100 and Avengers: Battle for Earth.
Also for the Wii U is something called Nintendo Land which seems to be a load of minigames based on the biggest Nintendo names, i.e. Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mario and Luigi.
Unfortunately Nintendo still haven’t given us a launch date for the Wii U beyond ‘holiday season’ and a price is nowhere to be found.

As if there weren’t enough reasons for me to get a PS Vita now there’s a kick-ass female assassin named Aveline running around in 1768 New Orleans. This just shows the capability of the Vita because it looks like something that would run on a home console not a portable.

Release date: 30 October 2012

Ah Quantic Dream how I adore you. So following up Heavy Rain we have Beyond: Two Souls a game about Jodie Holmes (aka Ellen Page) who is ‘troubled by spirits living between our world and what lies beyond…The player will follow her as she grows up and explores the mysteries about what lies beyond life after death.’ - NowGamer.

It looks pretty interesting and I have high hopes based purely on it being Quantic Dream. Though I do find it amusing that Ellen Page’s character looks just like all the  other characters she plays, talk about typecast.

Ubisoft has announced a brand new IP at E3 - Watch Dogs. It’s being described as Assassin’s Creed meets Blade Runner meets Bourne Identity and it looks awesome. The game is still in early development so it’ll be a while before we get to play it but damn does it look promising.

Designer Chris Myles is at it again and this time he brings the Omni-Tool from Mass Effect to life. It’s complete with a flip out Omni-Blade!

Made from trans-orange 2.5mm sheet acrylic (laser cut, heated and hand bent) with a few 4-40 screws /nuts and straps. Heated in an oven at 325~350 for 15 min (with a little spot help from heat gun) and then bent by be-gloved hands into its final shape.

I really really want this.

There’s been nothing official yet but apparently there will be soon. Bethesda are supposedly due to reveal details about an Elder Scrolls MMO in May.
According to NowGamer ‘The source also revealed that the Elder Scrolls MMO will feature three playable factions. Though names and details weren’t given, the source suggested these will be represented by a lion, a dragon and a bird of prey.’

The Legend of Zelda Official Timeline.
‘Note that the “split” is due to Ocarina’s time differences and assumptions based on the different ways that story could have ended and branched off from his two ages: the Link to the Past split is Link failing, the Majora’s split is Link defeating Ganon and branching off from his boyhood and the Wind Waker split is Link defeating Ganon and branching from his older years.’ - Kotaku
