As for Daredevil there is some rather conflicting information currently circling.

On one side with have the news that Fox is desperate to make a DD film and is willing to barter the film rights to some Fantastic Four characters back to Marvel in exchange for more time to bring Daredevil to the big screen (again). This would mean Marvel get back people like Galactus and Surfer which would fit with the cosmic feel they seem to be heading to.

On the other side we have reports that Fox will in no way give up any film rights to anything from FF and are just going to let the Daredevil rights lapse in order to focus on Fantastic Four. Again this could be true because their Fantastic Four film is lining up pretty well so are they really going to want to lose hold of big names like Galactus when they’re trying to set up a new franchise? I think not.

Personally I’m praying for the second option because I would really love a Daredevil  film done right by Marvel Studios. Plus I think he’d fit very nicely into the little world they’re creating, and he’s real world so could help ground all the upcoming cosmics.

Joss Whedon is officially returning to Marvel Studios to write and direct the 2014 sequel to The Avengers…In addition, Whedon will be creating a Marvel universe based TV series for the ABC network. - Comics Alliance

Joss doing Avengers 2 was pretty much a given after all that success, but with the other news I’m not sure what makes me happier - that Joss is returning to TV or that it’s gonna be with a Marvel show. So much awesome.

Some kind of good news for fans of Powers and it’s possible TV show is that FX haven’t completely given up on it. Buuuut they are going to start completely from scratch again - that means new script, new cast, new everything. Hopefully they’ll get it right this time and we might eventually get to watch it.

So it was 2 and then it was 3 and then it was 2 again but now it is almost officially confirmed that there will be 3 Hobbit films. Apparently this is at the request of Jackson himself which bodes well when compared to say the studios behind Harry Potter/Twilight/The Hunger Games that stretched their films for monetary reasons.

No word yet on whether it’ll be more Hobbit stuff or something from The Lord of the Rings appendices.

I am so happy this film is being made. Cosmic Marvel is amazing.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Just the name of this makes me very excited and everyone that knows this story will understand why.

Ant-Man finally has some confirmed info! Edgar Wright has stated that he wants to adapt the Ant-Man story To Steal an Ant Man. No one has been cast yet but apparently the costume is going to be a mix of the contemporary Ant-Man suit and the classic Silver Age one.

Sadly no release date for this one.
